CARDIOLOGY
Brittani Altman, MSN, FNP-BC is a dedicated healthcare professional with nearly two decades of experience in nursing and patient care. She earned her Associate in Science and Registered Nurse credentials in 2005, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019. She went on to achieve her Master of Science in Nursing with High Honors in 2021, becoming a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout the majority of her RN career, Brittani specialized in cardiac procedural recovery, assisting patients through a variety of interventions, including cardiac catheterization, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, electrophysiology studies with ablations, pacemaker implants, peripheral venograms, and peripheral angiograms. She spent seven years as a charge nurse, leading a team of 12 nurses in a 13-bed recovery unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and procedural efficiency.
After transitioning into her role as a nurse practitioner, Brittani briefly worked in primary care before returning to her passion—cardiac care. She has been an integral part of Village Heart and Vein for 2.5 years, working in both clinic outpatient and acute care settings. Currently, she focuses on acute care, serving patients at UF Health Leesburg and UF Health Spanish Plaines.
Beyond her career, Brittani is devoted to her family—her husband of 18 years, their 14-year-old son, and 11-year-old daughter—whom she considers her greatest blessings. She enjoys traveling, history, and the arts, and embraces her passion for gourmet cuisine as a self-proclaimed “foodie.” Known for her attention to detail, organizational skills, and perfectionist nature, she applies these qualities to both her professional and personal life.
Brittani’s philosophy in healthcare is deeply rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect. She prays for God’s blessing on all her patients, striving to make each interaction genuine. She believes every patient deserves efficient, high-quality care and the opportunity to have an active voice in their health decision
